The Enterprise Technology Center of Tibet Rhodiola Pharmaceutical Holding Co., formerly known as the Genetic Engineering Drug Laboratory of Tibet Pharmaceutical established in 1996, was recognized as a national enterprise technology center by five ministries and commissions including the National Development and Reform Commission in 2006. It is the main undertaking institution for technological innovation and scientific research and development of Tibet Pharmaceutical. After 20 years of continuous development, innovation and growth, the Technology Center has become a professional center for new drug development with research and development capabilities for biotechnological drugs, natural drug monomers and chemical synthetic drugs. It has successfully developed many national innovative drugs and is one of the capable centers for new drug development in China.
